A telescopic handler, also known as a telehandler, teleporter, reach forklift, or boom lift, is a versatile machine widely used in agriculture and industry. While similar to a forklift, it features a telescopic boom (or cylinder) that extends forward and upward, giving it crane-like capabilities. This boom can be fitted with various attachments such as buckets, pallet forks, muck grabs, or winches. In North America, telehandlers are sometimes referred to as cherry pickers, a term used broadly for trucks or heavy equipment with such booms.

The STEEL CAMEL M1340 telehandler forklift utilizes an Italian hydrostatic transmission, 4-wheel drive, and all-wheel steering, with selectable modes including 4-wheel steer, front steer, or crab steer to suit different operational needs. This ensures excellent maneuverability on challenging farming and construction terrains.

Combining the functions of a forklift truck and a telescopic wheel loader, the M1340 offers greater efficiency and significantly improved stability in material handling compared to either a forklift or a loader alone.
